Hero Art VIP Event 2013

I was so lucky to have this opportunity due too my friend Brenda that owns Stamplicity ( 905-834-7564)in my home town of Port Colborne Ont. I have been teaching for her since she took over the store in February of this year. This why I do not post much any more LOL
We were the only Canadian store there so that being said we will be the first in Canada to be getting the new stamps!!!! I was a long trip for us over a short period of time but It was well worth it and would do it again!!! We got  so much information it is hard to put it into word, but I can say are class in the new year will ROCK!!!! if you happen to live close to us give us a call too find out when we will have the new stamps, They were too start shipping Nov.11th so we should have them in our hot little hand very soon!!!!

Getting ready for the New Stamplicity

I have been doing some card samples for the new owner of Stamplicity Brenda. She reopens Feb.16th!!! So Exciting!!! She will be having a new website up shortly and I will share it as soon as I get it. I am also taking Clean and Simple Card Making 2 so some of the card are idea from the class.

It is time to Celebrate

Background colored with distress ink Dusty concord, stamped over with Seedless preserves. Butterflies embossed with black enbossing powdwer, then cut out and colored with a water color brush and Seedless Preserves distress ink. There is a couple of things I would do differnt but stil liked it turned out.

I think time has got the best of me again. Well the BIG announcement at my local  scrap booking /stamp store was well received  www.samplicity.com . After seventeen years in business the present owner Pauline is selling the store to Brenda that works at the store. I am so excited for Brenda and for Pauline. Brenda will have a dream of hers and Pauline will have time to spend with her family and a long over due vacation with her husband  Keith. She is not going too far she will be working part time at the store.  Pauline should be so proud of herself on how she has built the business over the past seventeen years!Brenda takes over Feb. 1st she will close the store for two week to make it her own. It is a short time to do all the work but is will be a long two weeks for some of us! LOL!  Brenda grand opening will be Feb. 16 which it will also be a Hero Arts preview party one of my favourite company's !!!! Brenda has asked me to design some cards samples for her. I am excited  but also a little nervous also.  Wow I think this is the longest text post ever! LOL I am not one for writing at all if you haven't noticed.......

Shhhhhh!

Tomorrow there is something BIG going to happen at my local scrapbook/stamp store! www.stamplicity.com The owner Pauline let us all know a few weeks back that some thing BIG was going on and invited us all to save the date for the BIG announcement! Ok I do know what it is but can not tell yet ! It been a hard secret hard to keep as I have known since Sept. I haven't even told my mom, and she has tired to get it out of me! LOL! I am very excited!!!

I think in Art Journaling I will never be truly finished a page I keep going back to a page that I think I finished and add more. Thes are a few pages in the works befor I took Dyan 's class.

I am a bad blogger!!!!

I am am so far behind on my blog!!! I am hear and still crafting! This past September I did my first make and take for my LSBS http://www.stamplicity.com/ you can find more photos there under Fall Fling. Not sure way it has taken me so long to post. Life I guess. I had a great time teaching for the first time.
I was busy trying to get my daughters scrapbook caught up will try and post some picture soon.
