A card for a friend

I made this card for a friend the is going though chemotherapy he has a rare blood cancer.  He is only 42 and has two children 11,13 and a very supportive wife . So I will be making quite a few of these cards for him as we may not be able to visit him as often as we all wish.

April snow showers bring...........

The first card was painted with reinkers and a water color brush. The second is just stamped the back ground is hard too see in the photo but there is some clouds. Then put flower soft on the tress to make them look as if the leave are just starting. A very snowy day here today it was hard to get good pictures.
Yes you read it right snow! We haven't had snow all winter an now it is mid April and we have snow crazy weather, and I have heard we are to get more yet. CRAZY!!!

Easter a little late......

Her is a card I did for my daughter for Easter. Late in posting this but that's how it go sometimes! LOL!! Colored with my copics. The little chick has Martha Stewart flock on it.

Class complete!!

Well they are finally here!!! My Distress Markers!!! Didn't think I would get them until, best case at the end of the week. But to my surprise the greeted me home yesterday!! I love them!!! So I got to finish off the missing tags from Tim Creative Chemistry class. Not sure if I like my water color paper as it did come up a bit, so will have to try an other brand. Got to remember to dry stamped image after stamp, it will work better that way. My heat tool is still not in and was to lazy to get out my blow drier. LOL

Creative Chemistry Day 4 and Day 9

The first tag is from day 4. Had to wait as I did not have the re-inkers that I wanted to do the butterflies.

Day 9 Tags such fun!!!! My heat tool is no more so I decided too give it a go with my blow drier. can not wait for my new heat tool!!! Now i am only wait for my distress makers to do day 6!

Look who I met!!!!

Yep you got it Sheri Carroll form Hero Arts!!!! We were so lucky that she came to a not so LSS but about an hour away in Buffalo NY. I was only able to take one class as I had to work on Sat. (as usual) and Sunday was my yearly convention in Toronto so I got to take one class late Sat. afternoon. It was a blast!! Sheri is such a fun lady! Now I have heard that buffalo Stamps is going to work out a date in the fall for her to come back! I will be there hopfuly for more than one class!!!!
